Good morning and Happy New Year!

Thank you to everyone who joined for our December virtual lunch and learn about mental health resources for students in Allen County. We had a wonderful presentation thanks to Bowen Health, Parkview Behavioral Health, and Maple Heights Behavioral Health. If you were unable to attend, you can find the recording on our YouTube channel and on the ACDOH School outreach webpage.

This month, our focus will be on addressing the ongoing rise in norovirus cases and reviewing the outbreak response protocols for norovirus in schools, and our guest speaker will be a representative from SCAN. SCAN works to protect children from abusive or neglectful situations and offers important resources to help families. Our speaker will discuss how SCAN can support students and their families in order to prevent the need for a hotline call to DCS. She will also be addressing the upcoming name change and rebranding happening at SCAN.
