Throughout the school year, Woodburn Lutheran School collects chapel offerings and donates them to different organizations. Chapel offerings are designated to a specific organization each quarter. Our first quarter chapel offerings this year benefited Kate’s Kart. WLS was recently able to present a check for $450.00, along with 130 books, to Kate’s Kart.

Through the gifting of new books, Kate’s Kart strives to provide a comforting diversion to hospitalized children and their families, and to foster a love of books, and ultimately literacy, by encouraging children to read and parents to read to their children.
