Throughout the school year, Woodburn Lutheran School collects chapel offerings and donates them to different organizations. Chapel offerings are designated to a specific organization each quarter. Our first quarter chapel offerings this year benefited the Woodburn Christian Children’s Home. WLS was recently able to present a check for $585.20, along with many pantry items, to the Woodburn Christian Children’s Home.

The Woodburn Christian Children’s Home, a ministry of Christian Churches and Churches of Christ, is broadly supported by the community throughout the tri-state area. Since 1972, this special home has provided a Christian family environment for children who are homeless or who have other special needs.
